Ely Lilly Voice is benchmark product developed by Microsoft service unit. This software is developed using SharePoint as its base and custom components created on top of it. I was brought in via Magna Infotech (Outsourcing agency) on contract of few months to rectify the UI discrepancies that were identified on their UAT phase. I got into the dev environment and fixed the defects and UI observations based on priorities and the numbers started dipping fast.
I also took an initiative (proactively) to normalise the code and did a code review of its UI part and all the observations and duly accepted by Microsoft dev team and fixed on time. Conducted training to the dev team to set the UI flow smooth via classroom sessions. Created reusable component for them to streamline their process moving forward, components include SharePoint widgets, reusable button and UI components, Silverlight components etc. All these UI process updates got very good reviews to Microsoft dev team and me.
